Marie Antoinette

I love the beauty of the 17th and 18th Centuries. The colors, soft fabrics, hats, and especially the shoes!

One of my favorite Art magazines Stampington & Company is devoting a whole magazine to Marie Antoinette and Vintage inspired Art and Jewelry.

The publication will be on sale April 1st. This is a special publication and I don't doubt they will sell out. Just looking at this picture makes me want to do some Victorian inspired art.

It also makes me want to read more about this time in history. The book Queen of Fashion by Caroline Weber sounds just like the right choice!

The photo's here were taken by Annie Leibovitz the famous photographer.

Doesn't sound like it is time to grab that book and head for a hammock under the tree in the mild spring weather and dream away to another time~
