~ I love blogging because ~







Blogging is like a modern day version of a message in a bottle.















When you create a post and send it off into the web it is as if you have put a message in a bottle and sent it to sea for someone to find.

































You want your message to be found and read by others although you may be hesitant sharing your written word, visual work or feelings.

When someone does find your message it is like they are peeking into your soul.




The greatest gift to a blogger is to see our message sent yet again to another, sharing our inspiration and passions.

For us to receive comments on our posts of how we have touched someone is like having the message in the bottle found, our message read and understood.

Inspired by a magazine ad
I created the backgrounds in my art journal. I have three journals going at once. One just collage, one acrylic and collage and this one a variation of many types. This allows me to let things dry. I do sometimes however use a blow dryer to speed things up and stay working on the same journal book. I have about 10 pages to go to complete this book! I can't wait to start on the next one! There are several visual journal classes via online. If interested leave me a comment and I will email you some information! This is published a few times a year and is great for inspiration. Just don't get too overwhelmed when you start your own. Create your own style. Experiment and most of all have fun!

This is a closer look at the fairy painting. I am back to the work room for some art journal work.

I have been taking an Organic Dimensions Class.
This is the latest that I have been working on.
I wanted her to look as though she was gazing in the water. I used colors related to nature. The collage paper I used had flowers and I muted them by painting over it. I found a few fairy quotes but don't know that I will add them. Haven't quite decided if I am done.
Spread your wings and let the fairy in you fly!
Fairies are invisible and inaudible like angels. But their magic sparkles like nature.

Here is a picture of one of my acrylic paintings that I have done lately. I have been busy with the mom stuff. Sammie had gotten sick back to back with two different virus's. So....not much time for keeping up with posts and such.
I am going up to San Francisco area this weekend for the first birthday of my granddaughter Audrey. The break will be good. Hopefully I will return with much inspiration for more art work.
I have two mixed media projects in the works and trying to get to my art journal. I will have to put on hold until after the weekend. Next week some new posts for all~
