Rain Soothes My Soul

Rainy days and almost summer? I do like the summer but it gets really hot here and by the end I will be yearning for the rain. How many 112* days can you take? So I wanted to share this with you prior to getting into full swing of summer. Here is my first attempt at a slide show. I took pictures from start to finish and put them together. I used a spray bottle with water to create the drip affects for the backgrounds. Recycled paint scraps and cut the dress and umbrella from it. Then I used dictionary pages for her body and face painting them. I kept this mixed media piece pretty simple. The quote is "Rain showers my spirit and waters my soul.
