Journal Page Love

I wanted to share a quick post on a journal page I did incorporating a paper bag that Sammie wrapped a gift in for Mother's Day. I cut the bag where she painted her picture and then cut out the big heart she made and painted on the bag. I colored a back ground on the page before applying with matte medium. Then I glued down her elements and I glued cut out hearts and painted around them, painted the date and journaled what she had written to me over the top of the bag and at the bottom of the page journaled what we did that day. You can do this with any gift wrap or card and then you will have a memory of that day. The above photo with the three shows the differences in what it would look like if you used a photo editing program the 1st one using gritty + 60's the, 2nd one with a color correction, 3rd one with boost. You can see the different feel it gives to a picture~ Sometimes its fun to play around with digital. I would love to learn and do more digital and incorporate it into some of my art. I hope you will give this simple technique a try in your journals it is a great way to save memories. What ways do you like to preserve your memories? Do you scrapbook as well as journal? Full Frost Moon Dream Board

What do you want to bring to life in this final part of the year? Is it time to breathe some fresh energy into your 2009 goals and intentions? Is it time for completion and clearing? Are you already starting to cast forward into 2010? What will you dream of under the Full Frost Moon?

These are some of the questions that Jamie Ridler asked at Jamie Ridler Studios. I made a full frost moon dream board at Polyvore to renew some fresh energy into my 2009 goal and intentions. I put a journal in my picture to represent my journal and list of things to accomplish.~ I don't want to just have the list in a journal. I want to complete the intentions on my list. I want to be able to stay focused, be original, creative and sell my creations. Soon I will be opening an Etsy shop. I have had this on my list but now is the time to finalize the intention! I also need to focus on being happy and healthy and not letting the past drag me down. ~ I have to draw on my faith and be secure that I am following the right path and my dreams will be a reality that fall into place. I want to be ready for a new year full of beginnings and happiness. There are lots of firsts coming in 2010~ I will share those with you later! Thanks for stopping by~ Theresa

Halloween is just around the corner. Whether you believe or not it can be a magical time of year. From changes in the season to looking at the history of Halloween for inspiration and a bit of fun. For me I do believe you can do things to improve what comes to you in life. Using vision boards, writing down what things you desire, using the power of intention and positive thinking~ I could go on but, I will do some posts on those topics at a later date. I did this post for several other reasons.

Believe me I am always looking for magic when it comes to using anything tech driven to improve the look of my blog, my posting or just learning more about digital art!
